How to save time with email marketing
We work with many fitness clubs that have multiple sites.
This can cause a slight headache with email marketing when you want to send the same message to recipients in different locations. Replicating email after email for each site can be a drag, especially when the emails are identical aside from the location-specific footer and contact information.
We’re going to show you how to set up one email per campaign with a dynamic footer and custom contact information to help you save valuable time and energy with email marketing for multiple locations.
How to set up a global email footer
- To start, go to Marketing > Files and Templates > Design Tools.
- Select the email template you want to edit and click into the editor.
- Click + Add and drag a Rich text module into the footer of your template.
- Include contact properties for club location like Company Name, Company Address, Company City, Company State, Company Zip Code, and Company Phone Number.
- It’s also a good practice to include the ability to unsubscribe or update subscription preferences in your email footer.
- Click Insert and select Insert/edit link.
- Modify the Link text according to the text you’d like readers to view.
- Add {{unsubscribe_link}} into the Link URL field and select Add link.
- Click More and select Convert to global module. You will be prompted to name your module.
- Click Create to save your module and Publish your saved changes.
Woo-hoo! You have successfully created an email template with a global footer that can be used for multiple locations.
When you create email campaigns in the future, simply select this template and the footer will auto-populate with the location-specific information.
